Ninja Weapons List
Just like Batman has a utility belt, Ninjas have their own weapons and tools. Below are some example of their most popular weapons.

Ninja Stars - aka Shuriken
The come in various shapes and sizes. The above picture is an example of what is the most common shapes. Although a direct hit in vital areas can cause serious damage, Ninja stars were originally used as a way of distracting the enemy helping the Ninja flee into safety.
Ninja Sword - aka Ninja-To
The Ninja Sword in general is much shorter than the sword of a Samarai's. Traveling by foot and for concealment it is much easier to carry a lighter and shorter sword. The average length of a ninja sword is 24" while Samarai's swords range from 26 1/2" to 37". Ninja swords are housed inside a scabbard, which often times are made longer by a couple of inches to hold secret weapons, such as daggers, spikes, or poison.
Nunchakus - aka Nunchucks
Although original ninjas may not have used Nunchucks as the preferred weapon, recent trends shows nunchucks being carried and used more simply from the fact that they are small and easy to carry. Original nunchucks were made of wood connected by rope. Newer nunchucks can come in metal connected by a chain and swivel bearings.
Ninja Darts
These darts and daggers are easily to conceal for ninjas.
